Worship at Jacob’s Well Church

As Christians who spend a lot of time planning, preparing, and producing what we’ve come to call “worship services”, it’s easy to lose sight of what worship is (if we ever had that sight to begin with!), and why we do what we do. Our goal in the Celebration service is to create an environment where people can meet God in worship.

Worship is not an ‘event’, an ‘activity’, or a group of songs to sing.

Worship is a lifestyle.

Worship is an interaction, initiated by God. God ministers to us – on His terms, in ways He makes possible – as we respond to Him, we also minister to one another. This effectively makes all our interaction acts of worship. This also makes impossible the separation of worship as a singular activity.

Our goal at JWCC is to create an environment (serving each other) where people can meet God (respond to God has he engages with us) — making worship the center of not just our gatherings, but our lives.
