In the Spring of 2000, God planted a dream in the heart of Dave Richa to lead a church that was committed to helping people find their way back to God. Dave began to form a team, and that team began looking for an area that fit these three criteria: 1. Fast growing area 2. A large unchurched population and 3. An area with a lot of families. In the Fall of 2000, Dave met Dennis Thomas, the Sr. Pastor of Northern Hills, and together they realized that God was up to something and that Dave was being led to plant a church in Thornton, CO. In 2001, Dave Richa and his family moved from the Chicago area with about 40 other people to start a church in Thornton. Over the years, over a 100 people have made a decision to follow Jesus and Jacob’s Well continues to passionately pursue God’s vision of calling all people back to himself.
