Missing: Jesus – Series Begins March 22
I need the real Jesus, not my own comfortable images of Him
In this series, we’ll look at many of the main distortions we have of who Jesus is and who the Bible shows Him to really be and the difference that can make in our lives.
Week 1: Spooky Jesus – Jesus is not just Divine. He is fully human.
Week 2: Middle-Class Jesus – Jesus is not the supporter of my middle-class lifestyle. He is the man for others, especially those in need.
Week 3: Sunday School Jesus – Jesus is not the teacher of helpful guidelines for me to live by. He is Lord of my life.
Week 4: Buddy Jesus – Jesus is not just someone to make me feel better about things. He is the One who died and rose for me, the One to whom I owe everything.

New Series
This week, we begin a new series called “Missing: Jesus”. In this series we are going to be looking all the different ways we can create a ‘Jesus’ that is different from the One we find in the scriptures. We will be looking at: Spooky Jesus, Middle Class Jesus, Sunday School Jesus and on Easter we will take a look at Buddy Jesus.
We would love to have you join us this Sunday, 10 a.m. at Rocky Top Middle School!
